James Cocks is currently living in New York City. A native of Santa Monica, California, he was first introduced to family friends as “the new baby, James.” He has since lived in New Haven, New Mexico, San Francisco, the Middle East, and Hong Kong. He has a wide variety of interests, including urban development, cultural resources, information systems, and disaster response.
He is presently a master’s candidate in urban planning at Columbia University. He holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Yale University, four years of full-time experience in design, construction, and planning, and two years of part-time experience in policy analysis and research. |
